SMC-Rencon 2011
File Format for System input
All of the set pieces will be prepared by using Finale 2010. Their data files for input to your systems will be provided from the software in the format MusicXML (1.0/2.0) and Standard MIDI File (SMF format 1). A printed score will be also provided as reference for the system operators. You can download sample files for check bellow.
MusicXML
- The DTD is developed by the Recordare LLC. http://www.recordare.com/
- Two files described in version 1.0 and 2.0 will be provided.
- The files will be generated by the pre-installed plug-in of Finale 2010 (Dolet 5 for Finale).
- Partwise.dtd is adopted as the top-level format.
- Note data and expression marks (f, p, crescendo, andante, slur staccato, and so on) will be included. Neither phrase Structure nor Chords are specified.
- If the piece includes some specific notation (trills/tremolo, grace notes, you should transform those notation to actual notes by yourself.
SMF
- Format is 1.
- All note events will be assigned to Channel 1.
- The data will be generated by the pre-installed plug-in of Finale 2010 (Dolet 5 for Finale).
- Any information of notation and expression marks will not be included.
- All velocity will be set to 64.
- Tempo (BPM) will be set to the value that the set piece indicates.
- Any control message including dumper pedal (Sustain 91) will not be included.
